I met Lindsey when I was 22 in Breckenridge, Colorado before I moved to Seattle, WA. I had hired her to model for me for my first promo video I created for my wedding website. We just clicked and five years later I received a very special email asking me to photograph her wedding in Orlando, Florida. Of course I didn’t hesitate to say, “HELL YEAH!” With all the excitement I flew down, spent a few days getting to know her family as they welcomed their home to me during my stay and documented the wedding that has inspired me to fall in love all over again with my work. I received one of the sweetest letters from both the mother and bride telling me to never quit, ensuring me I have the talent and to believe in myself.
I’m not going to lie and say 2014 was the best year because for me it wasn’t. In fact it was toughest year in both my personal and professional life. What I have learned from it is don’t be afraid to take time off if you need it. Find ways to make only yourself happy without depending on other and a personal for me….TRAVEL ALONE because there is nothing like learning more about yourself then being stuck in a place you have never been and dealing with the silence that once scared me.
So with that… I leave you with the final wedding of 2014 that inspired me to look forward to a much more, positive, happy and successful 2015.
Here are some boudoir photos I took for Lindsey the day before the wedding.
Lindsey talented mother made her flower crown.
By far my favorite moment of the day…was when Alan decided to say hi to his daughter after seeing his bride for the first time.
